California Dreamin'

This post is a very special one for me. These photos are from my first trip to California. First off, this trip was long overdue. My best friend has lived in California for nearly 7 years and this was my first time going (shame on me). However, Big Sur has been on my dream destination list for much much longer than that. I remember the first time I saw Big Sur in a photograph I couldn’t believe such a place really existed. Fast forward to 2019, my dream became my reality. I am so full.
It really is true what people say about California - time does stand still. There is no other place in the world quite like it. We also spent two days exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea, and I’ll be the first to tell you that it is literally a fairy-tale. A quaint little beach town that one could easily spend hours getting lost in. I’m already planning my next trip back.
I’m so excited to share these images with you from my own personal perspective. I’m definitely still California Dreaming.
