Rolling with the Rowe's : Family Session in Uptown Charlotte

Meet the Rowe Family – Larry (Dad), Michelle (Mom) & Kieran (Son). 

Michelle & I bantered back and forth about me capturing updated family portraits for them for quite some time. After a few months, we finally set the plan in motion.

Kieran is a bright and exuberant child. He’s extremely independent and says it like he means it. It made so much sense to shoot this session in the city because of the architecture and in area where the energy would match his.

One of the perks of being a photographer in Charlotte, is getting kicked off parking decks for simply taking photos. I think it’s a pre-requisite for the job. So, after about 5-10 mins, we got kicked out and had to switch to Plan B. 

Luckily, I always have a Plan C too. We headed down and utilized a bit more of the cityscape. We got everything we needed – no thanks to the petty security who take themselves and their jobs way too seriously.
